2009 was the year of geometric shapes on album covers.
I'd wear any of these last year pieces. Brought to you by Sartorialist, Facehunter, and Back Yard Bill.

Amazingly realistic oil on canvas by Diego Gravinese, he also recently illustrated a cover of The Fader.
Just thought I should re-blog this occurrence. As part of his new book tour, fashion blogger Scott Schuman from The Sartorialist, did a book signing in my hometown of Dallas, TX. I'm crossing my fingers he'll make plans soon for Boston...
Part of Diet Cokes new Live Tastefully campaign involves actual Diet Coke Pop-Up Kitchens, or lounges, that serve you a free Diet Coke and samples of food that they promise goes well with the drink. Get your picture taken with a huge Diet Coke bottle, sample the foods, and browse the web at Boston's Diet Coke Lounge on 144 Tremont, 11am-3pm, till Nov 1st. The idea is innovative, but will you really replace a glass of wine at dinner with a soda pop? Probably not.
We're well into autumn but that doesn't mean you can't be nostalgic. Eternal Summers is a guitar/drummer duo with Nicole Yun's reverbed vocals. Catchy garage pop rock. I think of a dreamier, slower version of Deerhoof, but maybe that's just because she's Asian.
Boston Fashion Week is upon us, and while Autumn is finally coming in on the breeze our bodies and our wardrobe must become acclimated. With so many events, fashion shows and after parties, I'm sure we'll be seeing some very stylish Bostonians around Newbury.

Style that I want to be able to pull off/sometimes try. Except, I could never rock a one piece like that one woman, and every time I attempt to tie a scarf in my hair I somehow mess it up. High tops and cut offs? Perfect. These images come from Facehunter and The Sartorialist.
I swear every chick in Boston has bought this shirt. It's like the girl version of that Urban Outfitters shirt every man on the planet owns...you know the one I'm talking about: dees one.
